The Jane Acilo Foundation is a community-led, transparent, and accountable not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth, promoting inclusive development, and ensuring no dream is denied.

The Foundation was inspired by the legacy of Dr. Caroline Abeja Apunyo, who believed passionately in the power of education, and Nikanori Apitta, who modeled dignity and integrity in leadership. Jane Acilo founded the organization to honor their values of compassion, service, and resilience.

We work under four main pillars:

Education – Scholarships, grants, and recognition of excellence.

Health – Annual medical camps and outreach programs.

Mentorship & Empowerment – Skills training, leadership development, and self-reliance support.

Equity & Inclusion – Supporting widows, the poor, and vulnerable groups while promoting sustainable growth.

It’s a scholarship initiative honoring Dr. Caroline Abeja Apunyo, supporting brilliant but underserved learners, especially girls. The grant covers tuition, school supplies, mentorship, and celebrates academic excellence in public schools.

You can:

Donate – Fund a child’s education, sponsor training for women, or support medical camps.

Partner – Collaborate as a government agency, NGO, faith-based institution, or private-sector CSR team.

Volunteer – Lend your skills as a medical professional, mentor, trainer, event volunteer, or administrator.

Our programs have touched lives across education, healthcare, and empowerment. Behind every grant, health service, or mentorship program is a real person whose story reflects resilience and change.
